  • Not-for-profit Board and Executive Director training workshop series in conjunction with colleagues at Analytic OR and resolveHR – 4 workshop topics: Dealing with Difficult Situations, Board Recruitment, Financial Management, and Risk Management.


  • Conducted background, pan-Canadian review of existing programs and research related to driving cessation for the Centre on Health and Aging, UPEI. Created an innovative program and support materials, focus tested materials and piloted workshops. Using a Health Action Process Approach Model, the SPIRIT project program (Fitness to Drive) 2013-2014 components were designed to move non-intentional and intentional individuals to action planning or taking action.


  • Supported the implementation of the 2013 Active Measures Program for PEI First Nations Communities by assessing the clients’ needs for assessment tools, creating required tools, and providing planning supports for the development of comprehensive case management. Conducted a community asset mapping exercise with key community stakeholders, conducted community information engagement sessions to share findings and explored future directions. Based on the findings, developed a social development framework and implementation work plan for each First Nation community.


  • Program design and delivery research for the Canadian Cancer Society – PEI Division’s provincial Cancer Patient Advocate Program (2011)


  • Project support for the PEI Lung Association – researched and developed an annotated resource with recommendations for program design and partner engagement for use in a Smoking Cessation Support for Mental Health Services Clients on PEI Project..


  • Annotated bibliography – completed a literature review and created an annotated bibliography for the PEI Lung Association focusing on information on marketing strategies and smoking prevention/cessation efforts targeting youth ages 20-24 year olds


  • Funding Request Proposals – wrote and submitted funding proposals for several not-for-profit organizations that successfully received funds from several different federal government programs.  Provincial projects ranged 1-3 years in length with budgets ranging from $150,000 to $300,000.
